KittyKind Silent Art Auction

I was introduced to KittyKind by my talented co-worker, Valerie Blum, who has been a volunteer helping to provide food, shelter, and medical care to rescued cats in NYC for over ten years. I am honored to participate in their Silent Art Auction Fundraiser this Friday night in Brooklyn. There will be cocktails and light hors d’oeuvres with the opportunity to bid on one of my turquoise neon dreamcatchers as well as beautiful work from a variety of artists.

Being Electric: Artist Savannah King Shows Us How to Light Up the Room

So you want to be electric?

Meet Savannah King, the Brooklyn artist behind the ethereal yet decidedly electrically charged dream catcher currently on display at Well Being. As part of Third Eye, Savannah makes each of her dream catchers to order, thoughtfully juxtaposing natural materials like feathers and crystals with industrial elements like neon and plexi. We can’t promise it will ward off evil spirits, but it’s definitely bringing the cool vibes and good energy to our space.

Story

Check out the latest neon dream during STORY's Well Being feature. I love the concept of this ever evolving space. STORY has the point of view of a magazine, changes like a gallery, and sells things like a store. I couldn't be happier to be a part of the current installation about a shift in thinking that weaves the principles of healthy living into everyday.
